Solana has been a spiritual teacher for over 30 years and is a world traveler. In 1979 she began studying yoga with Swami Satchidananda, became a vegetarian and began meditating. ( You will find her teaching yoga when she is one place long enough to do so.) She has been a guest on the Wisdom Channel, taught Soul Dance at Omega Institute, and interviewed with Deepak Chopra. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Traditional Eastern Arts, with a focus in Yoga and a minor in Fine Art,s from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado. Also a Master’s Degree in Philosophy and Religion, with a focus in Asian Comparative Studies, from California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco.

Solana has trained as a Ro-Hun Therapist, Reiki Master, a Medium, and a Vedic Astrologer (Jyotish). In 1989, after a two year intensive training, she took a vow to help others on their spiritual path when she received Ordination as a Minister in the Church of Wisdom.

She was raised Catholic and has been researching the mystical aspect of Christ’s teaching and connecting them with  Eastern Traditions. Yoga taught her, “Truth is One, Paths are Many,” and that has been an integral part of her life. She is a Soul Searcher, Soul Dancer, and Soul Teacher. She is aspiring for Self Realization, ( the Truth of Life, Spiritual Enlightenment, Liberation,)  the highest aspect of our selves that we are all meant to realize. She has had glimpses of that place within her being, that place of peace and fulfillment. She loves to share what has helped her on the path with others.

In 1995, she married the man of her dreams while living in Hawaii. Her newly beloved husband died three week later unexpectedly of a heart attack at the age of 33. She felt an inner impulse to write her story. Thus she is the author of “Letters Through the Veil, A True love story of a Woman’s Communication with her Husband after His Death.”  It was published in 2000 and won an award as a finalist from the Coalition of Visionary Resources at the International New Age Trade Show in Denver. The book was just recently published onto Amazon Kindle in October of 2013.
